NewNew Features

  • Panel SettingsA new Panel Settings page in System Settings offers three presets — Classic, Advanced and Custom — that hide whole feature areas (Games, Docker, Regions, Activity Logs, Announcements) from the panel at once. Classic gives a V2-like panel without Docker, Regions, Activity Logs and Announcements; Custom picks any subset. Hiding a feature is a simplification, not a permission: pages, data and the API keep working underneath, and Docker and Games can never both be hidden.
  • Server reboots stop services gracefullyRebooting a server, from the panel's Tools menu or from outside TCAdmin (RDP/SSH, a cloud console, docker stop on the appliance), now stops every running service the normal way before the operating system goes down, then starts them again once it's back up. Before 3.21 an external reboot simply killed every service outright. See Server Reboots.
  • Automatic restart after a crashA game server that exits on its own — a crash, a quit from the console or RCON, or a kill — is now started again after a short delay, without waiting for query monitoring to notice. The new Unexpected Exit tab on a game blueprint's Monitoring page (previously Query Monitoring) sets the delay, a restart limit that stops a crash loop (by default 3 restarts in 5 minutes, after which the server is left stopped and a "Restart limit reached" entry is logged), and whether each exit is written to the activity log with its exit code. Scripts can react through the new ServiceExitedUnexpectedly event. See Query Monitoring.
  • Game files from another serverA server can now fetch a game's files from another TCAdmin server instead of keeping its own copy, over a one-time read-only credential and the built-in SFTP server. Turn on "Share game files with other servers" on the server holding the library, then pick it as the source elsewhere.
  • Keep a local copy of downloaded compressed filesFor a server fetching game files over SFTP, FTP, S3 or the provider above, this switch caches the downloaded archive and only re-downloads it once the source file's size or date changes.
  • Docker: use the service IP for outgoing trafficLinux nodes only. A Docker service on its own secondary IP used to send outgoing traffic from the node's primary address instead, so games that advertise the address they connect from — Steam, EOS, most anti-cheat backends — showed the wrong IP. A new switch, on the blueprint and per-service, fixes that.
  • A scheduled task's run historyEvery task on a service's Scheduled Tasks page gained a History icon showing its past runs, with a status filter, a date range, and a link to each run's log — so "did my nightly backup actually run" has an answer.
  • Update Existing ServicesThe game editor's Command Lines tab gained an Update Existing Services button that applies the blueprint's current command-line settings to every existing service of that game at once — at each service's next start, or with an immediate restart. Before 3.21 the only way was to reinstall or edit each service by hand.
  • A Tools menu for every server, and Restart All MonitorsThe Servers list and a server's page gained a Tools menu collecting connection tests, logs, console sessions and power actions in one place, plus a Restart All Monitors action that restarts every enabled non-master server's monitor at once — the master is never included.
  • File System Permission optionsA blueprint's File System Permissions page gained four panel-wide switches: skip owner and symlink checks on very large folder listings for speed, hide Linux files carrying the executable bit, check that a file's owner matches the service's own user, and block symbolic links pointing outside the service's folder. All four are on by default.
  • Tasks no longer leave root- or Administrator-owned files behindWhen a game update, Steam download, mod install or script writes into a service's folder as the system account, every file it touches is now handed back to the service's own user automatically, on both Windows and Linux, without a manual Repair afterward.
  • New config file scripting eventsScripts can now run before a blueprint config file is read or written, and can refuse the read or the write, plus a third event after a write completes: BeforeServiceConfigFileRead, BeforeServiceConfigFileWritten and AfterServiceConfigFileWritten. Available to game and Docker blueprint scripts alike.
  • Change a service's ownerA service's Settings page gained the ability to reassign the service to a different customer, for game and Docker services alike.
  • Repair works on more servicesRepair now also works on Docker services (Linux nodes), re-owning a container's file tree to fix files it left owned by the wrong user. For a running game or Docker service, Repair can now also run without stopping it first, instead of forcing a stop.
  • Announcements can target a server or virtual server, and visual scripts speak your languageAnnouncements gained two new scopes, targeting everyone on a specific server or virtual server, not just by blueprint, region or datacenter. Separately, the visual (flowchart) script editor's labels and help text now follow the panel's own language instead of always showing in English. See Announcements and the Visual Script Editor.
  • Failed service creation cleans up after itselfIf creating a service fails before or during the step that creates it, the panel now removes the partial service — its files, its run-as user, its container — instead of leaving a broken one in the list. A failure afterward, such as a failed Steam download, keeps the service so the install can be retried.
  • The real client IP behind Cloudflare or a reverse proxyThe panel now trusts a visitor IP forwarded by a proxy (CF-Connecting-IP, X-Forwarded-For, X-Real-IP) only when the connecting machine is a known one: localhost, Cloudflare's edge network, or an address an admin explicitly lists. Until then, the activity log, logins and API-key records show the proxy's own address for every user.
  • Smaller improvementsGranting a sub-user Config Files, Command Lines, File Manager or FTP access now selects every variable for them automatically when none was picked, and leaving the sub-user permissions page with unsaved changes now asks first; game dropdowns show an OS icon and label so the Windows and Linux copies of a game can be told apart; a service's Information tab now links to its blueprint; blueprint variables TCAdmin relies on can no longer be renamed or deleted; language imports from the plugin repository default to removing translations not in the import; mod and other icons can now be an SVG file or a hosted image URL; a license set at the datacenter or global level can no longer be edited on a server's own License page; a disabled server now shows as disabled in the Servers list and blocks Test Connection; Configure Container script output now reaches the web console and task log; the user editor shows a colour-coded chip for Admin / Sub-Admin / User / Sub-User, and changing an account's type is now admin/sub-admin only; demo mode blocks the new write actions above; and Scripts > New and the file manager (checkboxes, tooltips) got general polish.
  • Updated AI assistantIts reference material and tools were updated for everything new in 3.21, and it now says plainly when a question isn't covered instead of guessing at a page or button that doesn't exist. The default per-session token limit was doubled so long conversations run out of room less often; the limit stays adjustable in the assistant's settings.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Searching services by port or connection infoTyping a port number or a host:port address into the Services list search found nothing; both now match, and the Port column sorts correctly.
  • Scheduled task creation with a cron scheduleCreating a scheduled task using a cron expression failed with an error.
  • Combobox display and duplicate labelsSome dropdown fields showed the wrong text for the selected value, or listed the same label twice.
  • Sub-user FTP accessSome sub-users lost FTP access to services they were granted access to.
  • Sub-user login blocked by billing statusA sub-user could be silently blocked from logging in by their parent account's billing status, with no way to tell why.
  • Saving a new plugin repositorySaving a newly created plugin repository failed with a not-found error.
  • Plugin-import activity logImporting a plugin and viewing the import in the activity log showed an untranslated entry.
  • Recent Activity panel on a service's home pageThis panel required the full Activity Logs feature to work, even for admins who only had the narrower per-service activity permission.
  • Files uploaded over FTP on LinuxFiles uploaded through FTP on a Linux node could end up owned by the wrong user instead of the service's own user.
  • Redis hang and high CPU on a busy masterA master hosting many populated game servers could overload its built-in Redis, causing high monitor CPU and, in the worst case, the monitor or web service restarting.
  • Minecraft MOTD colour codesA Minecraft service's message of the day could show unreadable colour codes instead of plain text.
  • Starting a service's consoleCould fail with a database error.
  • Required message when saving a variableBlueprint variables showed an undismissable "required" message even with the Required option off.
  • CPU usage reporting on LinuxA Linux server's reported CPU usage was frozen near its since-boot average instead of showing live usage.
  • A memory leak in the web panelFixed a gradual memory leak affecting the web panel over time.
  • Config file access-denied messagesShowed one generic error instead of saying why access was denied.
  • Console connection errorsGame console connection issues were logged as errors instead of warnings.
  • A web console errorResizing a service's console shortly after opening it could throw a "second operation" database error.
  • Opening a direct config file linkCould throw a browser error instead of opening the file.
  • Empty plugin repositoriesFixed cases where a newly shared plugin repository appeared empty.
  • An offline server slowing down other connectionsAn unreachable server could slow down the panel's connections to unrelated servers.
  • Duplicate servers list on the health pageThe System Health page listed servers twice.

NewNew Features

  • Search the settings pageThe System Settings page now opens with a search box. Typing filters every settings tile across all categories at once, matching words are highlighted, the first match is outlined and opens with the Enter key, and Esc clears the search. Matching ignores case and accents, and every tile also carries English search words, so a search for "smtp" finds Email Settings and "ssl" finds Web Certificate no matter which language the panel is set to.
  • Ports tab on the service pageGame services gained a Ports tab listing every port the service was given: the address, the port with a copy button that copies the full ip:port, a connect button when the game defines a connect link for that port, and the port's name and description. The port chips that used to be squeezed into the Details tab now live here, and services with no named ports still show their game port.
  • Fast Downloads URL for a single serviceService Settings gained a Fast Downloads URL field. Leave it empty and the service keeps using the server's Fast Downloads base URL, which is the normal setup; fill it in to publish one service from a different address, such as a CDN or a customer's own domain in front of the same files. What you type is the whole URL. Files are still uploaded to the server's Fast Downloads storage — the field only changes the address clients are told to download from. Saving Settings rewrites sv_downloadurl in the affected configuration files; a running server picks it up on its next restart.
  • Change a Docker service's imageDocker service Settings gained a Container Image section showing the image the service currently runs and letting it be moved to another one. Users with the service settings permission can pick any image the blueprint offers; entering a completely custom image and tag additionally requires the blueprint's image permission, because an unreviewed image runs unreviewed code on the node. Restart the service to recreate the container on the new image.
  • Theme logos in layout templatesThe Small Logo, Large Logo and Footer Icon set on a theme now reach layout templates, so uploading your own logo actually changes what a custom template draws — the login mark, the collapsed and expanded menu drawer, and the footer glyph. All five bundled templates were updated to use them, keeping their own artwork as the fallback when a theme leaves the fields empty, and they now honour the theme's Enable Logo Filter setting the same way the built-in layout does.
  • Repeating blueprint content syncThe Sync Blueprint Content schedule on the Maintenance settings page can now repeat through the day at a chosen interval instead of running only once at a fixed time, so mod and game-update lists pulled from an external catalog can be refreshed more often.
  • Duplicate address and port protectionSaving a game or Docker service onto an IP address and port already used by another service on the same server is now refused with a message naming the service that already holds it. Only ports you actually changed are checked, so unrelated edits — and partial fixes of an existing clash — are never blocked.
  • Fractional sizes in size fieldsFields that take a size with a unit (backup space limits, disk quotas and similar) now show and accept decimals. A 512 MB limit viewed in GB reads 0.5 instead of rounding, and switching units no longer changes the stored value.
  • Faster page loadingThe panel no longer embeds the whole theme catalog in every page it serves; it is fetched once and kept in the browser cache until a theme or template actually changes. Panel translations are cached the same way instead of being downloaded on every page load. Together this removes the large majority of the bytes each page load used to transfer, and the first screen appears sooner.
  • Coloured mod cardsCards in the Custom Mods browsers (Steam Workshop, CurseForge, Modrinth, Nexus Mods, uMod and Modpacks) now take a matching accent colour from the mod's own artwork. Images are also loaded through the panel, so artwork from providers that block hotlinking now displays.
  • AI assistant: editing layout templatesThe assistant can now read one page surface of a layout template — its markup and its CSS — and write both back. Before this it could only write markup, so asking it to add a tab or a section to a custom template produced something that never became visible, and it had to ask you to paste the existing markup into the chat.
  • AI assistant: reading Terminal consolesServices using the Terminal console output mode — which includes every game running through Wine or WSL — can now have their live console read by the assistant. It previously answered that the console was unavailable and suggested reading log files, which does not help for a game that writes none.
  • AI assistant: finding a service by portAsking about a port number, or an address:port, now finds the services using it. Ports are searched alongside service names, so a question that starts from a connection address no longer sends the assistant hunting through the whole service list.
  • AI assistant: answers in your languageThe assistant is now told which language your panel is set to, and follows the language of your latest message rather than switching on its own. Replies drifting into another language part-way through a conversation should no longer happen.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Garbled non-English server namesA queried server name containing Cyrillic, accented or other non-ASCII characters was mangled into unreadable text (Новый сервис GMOD became PP>P2QP9 Q=P5Q(P2P8Q= GMOD), and because the panel stores the queried name, the damaged text also became the service's saved name. Server names, map names and player names now decode correctly, and an affected service's stored name repairs itself on the next successful query once its node is updated.
  • Some servers reported no status at allOn servers whose query response contains raw binary data in its rules section — DayZ servers with a mod list being the common case — the entire query failed, so the panel showed no status, no player count and no server name.
  • Player connect times always showed zeroThe Connect Time column of the Current Activity list read 0 for every player on every game, because the queried value arrives as a duration such as 1m9s and was never converted. Note that Ping and Team stay empty for Source-based games (ARK, DayZ, Rust and others): those servers do not report them.
  • Background image jumped aroundThe panel background re-cropped and shifted whenever page content grew or a scrollbar appeared or disappeared.
  • Unclear file manager errorsOpening a file or a folder that no longer exists returned a generic server error; it now returns a plain "not found" message naming the path that was asked for.
  • Case-sensitive global variable searchSearching the global game and Docker variable lists only matched on exact capitalisation, unlike the per-blueprint variable lists.
  • Language list filtersThe column filters on the Languages settings page did nothing for the Language ID and Name columns.
  • Text left over after switching languageChanging the panel language left parts of the shell — the menu, the footer, the login form, the language selector, the connection and impersonation indicators and the AI chat window — in the previous language until the page was reloaded.
  • Import dialogs rejected larger filesImporting a script, theme, layout template or language failed for files over 500 KB. The limit is gone, so a full language export imports as-is.
  • Game query and RCON tools in the AI assistant never workedBoth tools called an address that does not exist and failed on every installation.
  • Listing a service's tasks in the AI assistant failedAsking the assistant for the scheduled tasks of a specific service returned an error every time. Related: an invalid search or sort sent to the API now returns a clear "invalid search query" message instead of a server error.
  • "No servers are configured" from the AI assistantWhen every host allowed every game, the assistant was told there were no servers at all and reported that a game could not be run anywhere.
  • Large layout templates were unreadable to the AI assistantReading a big template returned "content withheld" because its scan for secrets timed out. That scan is now dramatically faster on template-sized content.

NewNew Features

  • Automatic blueprint content syncA new SyncBlueprintContent script event lets a script keep a blueprint's mods and game updates lists up to date from an external catalog, such as a Minecraft build list. Attached scripts run automatically once a day at a configurable time — a new Sync Blueprint Content section on the Maintenance settings page holds the schedule and a Run now button. The event fires once per game or Docker blueprint that has a script attached; blueprints without one are never touched.
  • Modrinth mod supportModrinth joins Steam Workshop, CurseForge, Nexus Mods and uMod as a mod provider for Minecraft servers. Once enabled on a blueprint, users can browse Modrinth and install mods and server plugins with one click — no API key is required. The browser detects the service's mod loader (Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, Quilt and others) and Minecraft version and only offers compatible files, mods and plugins are placed in the correct folder automatically, and installed items can be updated or uninstalled from the same page.
  • Updated Minecraft configurationThe Minecraft game configuration in the plugin repository has been updated to take advantage of the new features in this release: it includes content sync scripts that keep its server builds and mod loaders up to date automatically, and the Modrinth provider is enabled so users can install mods and plugins as soon as the game is imported.
  • Support for servers with more than 64 CPUsCPU affinity is no longer limited to the first 64 processors. Services and virtual servers can be pinned to any CPU on the machine — on Windows this includes processors in every processor group — and the CPU pickers in the service settings, the create service wizard and virtual server settings now scale to the server's real CPU count.
  • NUMA node bindingOn multi-socket machines, a game service or a virtual server can now be bound to a single NUMA node so it runs on that node's CPUs and memory, improving performance for latency-sensitive game servers. The node selector appears automatically when a server reports more than one node, and CPU affinity is then selected within the chosen node so the two settings can never contradict each other.
  • Minecraft filters for CurseForgeWhen a blueprint's CurseForge provider is configured for Minecraft, the browse page now offers the same mod loader and game version filters as Modrinth, pre-selected from what is detected on the service.
  • Redesigned Mods and Updates pagesThe service Mods and Updates pages now show items in collapsible groups with a search box and an installed/not-installed filter, and groups with many entries show the first 10 with a View all toggle. Updates and mods can also carry release details — version, release type, release date and file size — entered in their editors and shown as columns on the service pages; a column only appears when at least one item has a value for it. The Mods menu link is now shown only when the service's blueprint actually has mods.
  • Add and translate languages in the panelLanguages can now be created and translated entirely in the panel. The Languages settings page gained an Add dialog with a searchable list of cultures, and each language now opens an edit page with a built-in translation editor: a searchable grid of every translatable text in the panel with the English text alongside, inline editing, and a filter that shows only untranslated entries.
  • Translatable script and custom link namesThe name and description of custom links, and of scripts that customers see as custom actions or custom icons, can now be translated from a Translations button in their editors — joining announcements and email templates. Customers see them in their own language on the service pages, and the translations are included when a script, game or Docker blueprint is exported and imported.
  • Clear custom command lines on reinstallReinstalling a game service now offers a Clear custom command lines option, selected by default, that deletes the service's custom command lines and returns it to the default command line — useful because command lines added by mods usually point at files the reinstall removes. The option only appears for users with access to custom command lines; a selected predefined command line is kept.
  • Menu identifiers for layout templatesEvery item in the main menu and in the service, blueprint and settings sub-menus now carries a stable data-tca-nav identifier, so custom layout templates can hide or restyle individual menu entries with plain CSS.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Child processes kept running after stopOn Windows, stopping a service that starts through a launcher (for example a batch file that starts the actual game executable) could leave the game's processes running. All child processes are now stopped reliably.
  • JSON configuration file errorsSaving a configuration file that uses the JSON parser could fail when the template used the same variable in more than one place, or used unquoted variables for values such as booleans and lists.
  • Missing task variables in mod scriptsThe Task and TaskStep variables were not available to scripts attached to the mod install and uninstall events.
  • Duplicate menu highlightOpening the Curse Mods page could highlight both Modpacks and Curse Mods in the service menu at the same time.
  • Database updates on customized MySQL serversDatabase schema updates now always run in strict SQL mode with InnoDB as the storage engine, so they no longer depend on the database server's global configuration.
  • Leftover AI assistant API keysThe temporary API key created for each AI assistant chat was disabled when the chat ended but never deleted, so old keys piled up on the user's API Keys page. Session keys are now removed automatically — including any left behind by earlier versions — and the assistant's keys are labeled with an AI badge in the list.
  • Services list on phonesIn the stacked mobile view of the services list, the row labels squeezed the game image and could make the action buttons wrap; the image and buttons now use the full width of the row.
  • Starting a service with High or RealTime priority on WindowsOn Windows, starting a game service or a virtual server whose process priority was set to High or RealTime failed with a "required privilege is not held by the client" error, while AboveNormal and lower worked.

12 New6 Fixed

NewNew Features

  • AI AssistantA new AI assistant is available from a chat window on every page of the panel. Ask it questions about TCAdmin or your game servers, have it investigate a problem, or ask it to make a change for you — it knows which page you are looking at, so questions like "why is this service offline?" just work. The assistant never changes anything on its own: every action it proposes — starting a service, editing a file, changing a setting, updating a server — is shown in a confirmation card (with a diff when it edits a file) and only runs after you approve it. The assistant also works within your own permissions, so it can never see or do anything your account couldn't do itself. It runs on prepaid credits, which can be purchased through the client area at https://clients.tcadmin.com — beta testers updating to 3.18 from a previous version will get 1500 free credits. Every reply has thumbs up/down buttons so you can tell us when it gets something wrong. See the AI Assistant page for setup, permissions and credit details.
  • AI script writingThe assistant can write and edit custom scripts for your games and Docker blueprints. Scripts are checked against your installation's actual scripting objects before they are proposed, and creating or changing a script always requires your confirmation. Remember to make a backup of your blueprint configuration before applying changes, so it can be restored if anything goes wrong.
  • Convert V2 scripts to C# with AIWhen you open a script imported from TCAdmin V2 in the script editor, a Convert to C# with AI button asks the assistant to rewrite it as a C# script that is compatible with V3, validate it, and show you the result for approval.
  • Custom AI instructionsTeach the assistant about your setup in two places: general instructions on the AI Assistant settings page apply to every conversation — house rules, tone, and knowledge about your company — and a new AI Assistant tab on each game and Docker blueprint holds instructions that apply whenever a conversation involves a service of that blueprint, such as game-specific quirks and preferred fixes. Instructions can steer the assistant's answers but can never unlock actions or skip the confirmation step.
  • New theme wizardCreating an on-brand theme no longer means working through the full theme editor. A new Create with wizard option on the Themes page asks only for the essentials — a name, your logos, a login background and three brand colors — and derives a complete light and dark color palette from them, keeping text readable automatically. Instead of picking colors by hand you can select them from a screenshot of your website: the suggested palette is extracted entirely in your browser, so the image never leaves your computer. A live side-by-side preview shows the light and dark results before anything is created, and the wizard finishes on the regular theme edit page for fine-tuning.
  • File manager list viewThe file manager now offers a list view alongside the existing grid view, toggled from the header. List view shows Name, Size and Last Modified columns, all sortable — folders always stay grouped before files — and large folders load more entries automatically as you scroll. Your view and sort preferences are remembered.
  • File manager searchA search box in the file manager searches file names and file contents in one go. Content matches show a snippet of the matching text, and results can be opened, edited or downloaded straight from the list. The first search on a service may briefly show an indexing progress while the file contents are scanned; searches right after that are instant.
  • Clickable file manager pathThe folder path shown above the file listing is now clickable, so you can jump straight to any parent folder.
  • Detach a serviceA new Detach action removes a service from the panel without contacting its server, for the case where a server is permanently offline and a normal delete is impossible. Nothing is touched on the machine itself — files, containers and users are left as they are; only the panel's records of the service are removed. The action is restricted to administrators and clearly warns that it cannot be undone.
  • Find services by user or serverThe services page can now be filtered by username, server name and virtual server name in addition to the service name, in both the table and grid views. The server and virtual server names shown for a service are now links to their settings pages when you have permission to view them.
  • Sub-user variable permissionsWhen configuring a sub-user's permissions for a service, you can now grant them access to specific variables. A sub-user can only see and edit the variables they have been granted, and only ones the service owner can edit themselves.
  • Windows Firewall rules added automaticallyInstalling or updating TCAdmin on Windows now adds Windows Firewall exceptions for the Monitor and the web panel, so a fresh install is reachable without manual firewall configuration.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Role editor delaysThe role details page could hang while loading the Game and Docker permission tabs, and saving a role took noticeably long.
  • Service list flickerSwitching the services page from the table to the grid view caused a visible flicker.
  • Batch scripts on LinuxStarting a batch script on a Linux server failed with the error "Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided".
  • IPv4 addresses in the activity logConnections from IPv4 clients could be logged with an IPv6 ::ffff: prefix; they now always appear as plain IPv4 addresses.
  • Script errors reading input valuesCustom scripts could fail with "Unable to cast object of type 'System.Text.Json.JsonElement' to type 'System.IConvertible'" when reading values from input dialogs or script parameters. Values now arrive as plain text, numbers and booleans, so existing scripts work without changes.
  • File ownership on LinuxSaving a file could set its owner from the parent folder's owner instead of the service's user, so a file saved into a folder owned by root could become inaccessible to the game server. Files saved through the panel and FTP now always belong to the service's user, and re-saving an affected file repairs its ownership.

9 New6 Fixed

NewNew Features

  • Docker management pageEvery server now has a Docker page that shows the state of its Docker installation, lets you manage the images downloaded on the machine, and holds the server's Docker settings.
  • Install Docker from the panelIf Docker is not installed, the Docker page offers to install it for you. Windows servers can choose between Windows Containers (Docker's native Windows engine) and Linux Containers (Docker Engine inside WSL2); Linux servers install Docker Engine directly. The installer lists the steps it will take and can reboot the server automatically when a step requires it — some installs need more than one reboot, and running the install again simply continues where it left off.
  • Windows containersDocker services can now run Windows containers. On a Windows server running Docker's native engine in Windows-containers mode, blueprints built on Windows images work like any other Docker blueprint.
  • Linux and Windows containers on the same serverA server can be connected to two Docker engines at once — for example native Windows containers plus Docker Engine inside WSL2 for Linux containers. Each blueprint automatically uses the engine that matches its image, and when creating a service only the blueprints the chosen server can actually run are offered.
  • Backups for Docker servicesDocker services now support the same backup system as game services: enable backups on the blueprint, then create, restore and delete backups from the service's Backups page, with the same retention limits.
  • Log viewer for Docker servicesDocker services now have the same Logs page as game services for browsing the container's log output.
  • Clearer status while an image downloadsA Docker service's status shows Starting while its image is being downloaded, so a start that has to pull a large image doesn't look like the service failed to start.
  • Live network usageA service's live statistics now include network usage on Linux as well as Windows, and the Windows collection is more reliable. Sent and received traffic is shown alongside CPU and memory usage. The stat is hidden on machines where traffic can't be measured for an individual service.
  • Enterprise license key passwordIf your enterprise license key is password protected, the password can now be stored with the key in the global or datacenter configuration, so servers inheriting the key activate without asking for it.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Steam updatesClicking a service's Steam update icon responded with a noticeable delay, and running the update could fail with an error.
  • Parent variable settings could not be editedA variable's Parent Variable and Parent Value settings could not be changed in the variable edit page, and a variable's visibility now follows its parent's value as soon as the page loads.
  • Environment variables lost when importing a Docker configurationImporting a Docker blueprint configuration skipped its environment variables.
  • Duplicate connection messagesThe API Disconnected and Re-connected notifications could appear twice.
  • Error streaming logs from a remote Windows serverViewing a service's live logs on a remote Windows server showed an error.
  • Empty log in the task popupThe task progress popup's View Log button could show an empty log.

NewNew Features

  • Support for multiple CPU socketsOn machines with more than one CPU socket, a game server can now be assigned to a specific socket. TCAdmin detects the machine's socket layout automatically, and the assignment keeps the server's processing and memory together on that socket for more consistent performance. The CPU affinity list then picks CPUs within the chosen socket. Works on both Windows and Linux.
  • Cancel a running updateThe System Update page now has a Cancel update button while an update is rolling out. Servers that have not started updating yet are skipped and the rollout stops waiting on the rest; servers that already finished stay updated, and you can retry the update afterwards.
  • CPU usage relative to the service's limitsA service's CPU usage is now shown as a percentage of what it is allowed to use — its CPU affinity and CPU limit — instead of the whole machine. A server limited to 2 of 16 cores now reads 100% when it maxes out its two cores, instead of 12.5%.
  • Keep or clear mods when reinstallingReinstalling a service now asks whether to clear its installed mods list (blueprint mods, Steam Workshop, CurseForge, Nexus and uMod). Clearing is the default and fixes mods still showing as installed after a reinstall had deleted their files; untick Clear installed mods to keep the list.
  • Option to disable the FTP serverA new TCAdmin:Ftp:Enabled setting in a machine's appsettings.json turns off its built-in FTP server, matching the existing SFTP switch. When disabled, services on that machine no longer show FTP connection details and FTPS is not offered when moving a service.
  • More layout template variablesService home templates can now show the blueprint's short name and artwork (Service.BlueprintShortName, Service.ImageUrl, Service.IconUrl), where the service is hosted (Service.ServerName, Service.DatacenterName, Service.RegionNames, Service.ServerOperatingSystem), and — for users with the matching permissions — Service.Priority, Service.BillingId and Service.BillingStatus. A template can also check TrustedTemplate to detect whether its theme allows full-trust content and adjust, or show a notice, when it doesn't.
  • Service variables APINew GET /api/Service/{serviceId}/Variables and GET /api/Service/{serviceId}/Variables/{name} endpoints return a service's variable values, filtered to the variables the caller is allowed to see.
  • Script editor improvementsCode completion, hover help and error squiggles in the script editor are smarter and more reliable, and the visual script editor's header now takes much less vertical space, leaving more room for the flowchart.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Console not showing output when a service was startedThe console could stay blank when it was open while the service started. It now attaches and reconnects reliably.
  • FTP/SFTP uploads failing on WindowsUploading several files at once over FTP or SFTP could fail with "The security identifier is not allowed to be the owner of this object".
  • Breadcrumb not updating after switching themesThe navigation breadcrumb stopped updating after the theme was changed.
  • Error when saving pages without a validatorSaving some edit pages, themes and layout templates among them, failed with an error.
  • Error when a blueprint variable was missing from the serviceCreating a service could fail when a variable such as the Steam branch had not been added to the service's variables yet; the blueprint's default value is now used.
  • Error when creating a new game or Docker blueprintCreating a brand-new blueprint failed, and validation problems are now reported clearly instead of silently discarded.
  • Batch workshop actionsBulk actions on selected Steam Workshop items did not run.
  • Error opening a config file that did not existA service's Configuration page showed an error when one of its config files had not been created on disk yet.
  • SFTP server crash on shutdownThe monitor could report an error from the SFTP server while shutting down.
  • Import IPs missing addressesOn Windows, Import IPs only found addresses registered in DNS and missed secondary addresses; it now imports every address on every network adapter.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Database changes were skipped when updating on Linux and DockerFixed updates on Linux and Docker installations reporting success without applying the database changes that came with them. Anything relying on a new table or column then failed or behaved as though the feature had not been installed, and every later update repeated the problem, so a panel could fall several versions behind on its database while looking perfectly up to date. Updating to this version applies everything that was missed — as always, TCAdmin backs the database up first. Docker containers were also still running the tca command-line tool they were first installed with, so each update ran the original update steps rather than the ones shipped since; a container now picks up its updated tool the next time it starts.
  • Plugin repository announcements repeatingFixed the announcement about new and updated plugins reappearing over and over for a repository that had received nothing new. TCAdmin now announces only when the repository itself has actually changed and at least one plugin in it is still missing or out of date on your panel, so a pending update you have chosen not to install stops nagging you every hour, and clearing an announcement no longer brings it straight back on the next sync. Adding a repository no longer announces everything already in it, updated configurations on the V2 forum repository are now included as well — previously only brand-new ones were — and an announcement now lists the most recently changed plugins rather than the first few alphabetically. Turning a repository's Update notifications switch back on surfaces whatever is pending at that moment instead of staying quiet about everything that arrived while it was off.
  • Create service page showed outdated variable settingsFixed the configuration questions on the Create New Service page being shown as they looked when the blueprint's config file was last saved. Renaming a variable, rewording its description or editing its list of choices afterwards did not appear here, so whoever created the service saw the old wording and the old options — while the very same form on an existing service's Configuration page showed the current ones. Those questions are now built from the blueprint's current variables, questions belonging to a variable that no longer exists or that the signed-in user's roles do not allow are left out, and the config files load together instead of one after another, so the step opens faster.
  • Dismissing a finished update was recorded in the activity logClearing the finished-update message on the System Update page no longer adds an entry to the activity log. Starting an update and retrying a server that failed are still recorded.

NewNew Features

  • SFTP file accessYour servers now accept SFTP connections alongside FTP and FTPS, on port 8822. Customers connect with FileZilla, WinSCP or any other SSH file-transfer client and get the same folders, permissions and disk limits as over FTP, with a single port to open in your firewall instead of a passive port range. A switch on a service's connection-information card flips between the FTPS and the SFTP details. SFTP is enabled by default, and the move and copy wizard can now transfer a service over it as well.
  • Demo modeA new switch on a user's page turns that account into a safe showroom login you can hand to prospective customers. A demo user can browse everything their permissions allow but cannot change anything — no saving, no starting or stopping servers, no console input, and no file uploads, edits or downloads — and sensitive values such as your license key, passwords and other customers' IP addresses stay hidden. Only administrators can set the switch, and never on their own account.
  • Dashboards saved to your accountDashboard layouts now live on your account instead of in the browser, so the widgets you arrange follow you to every browser and device you sign in from, and an administrator signed in as a customer sees that customer's dashboard rather than their own. Existing dashboards start from the default layout once after updating; rearrange them and the new layout is kept.
  • Layout templates: fully custom service pagesA set of new building blocks lets a layout template look nothing like the stock panel while staying fully live. Headless live values (live-cpu, live-status, live-name, …) render bare, self-updating numbers for tiles you design yourself; single-purpose pieces such as individual power buttons and copyable addresses replace the all-in-one blocks; a styling contract (data-part roles, a --pct percentage hook, and page-wide status attributes) lets plain CSS restyle the built-in components and react the moment a server starts or stops; and the new {% t %} tag shows a template's own labels in each viewer's language. Everything works in shared (sandboxed) templates, and it is all documented on the new Layout Template Reference page — also linked from the template editor's Reference tab.
  • Click-to-connect linksGames and Docker blueprints have a new Connect URL setting: a link template (for example steam://connect/${HostnameOrIP}:${GamePort}) that TCAdmin fills in for each server. When one is set, a connect icon appears on the server's connection-information card so players jump straight into the game — or straight to a container's web interface — and layout templates can place the resolved link anywhere with Service.ConnectUrl.
  • Deploy extra web panels from the panelThe master server's page has a new Web Flash/Deployment tab for running additional standalone web panels — on other hosts or other networks — that join this master. It generates the deployment token those panels need and shows ready-to-paste installer and Docker commands to go with it. An extra web panel installs only the web component and collects its configuration from the master when it starts. The token is stored hashed and can only be read right after it is generated; generating a new one stops the previous one from working.
  • What's New in plugin repositoriesA plugin repository's browse page now opens with a What's New strip showing the latest additions and updates across every plugin type in that repository, so you can see what changed since you last looked without going through each tab.
  • Update notifications per plugin repositoryEach plugin repository now has an Update notifications switch, including the ones that ship with TCAdmin. Turn it off for a repository you do not want to hear about and TCAdmin keeps syncing it as usual but stops announcing its new and updated plugins, and removes any announcement it has already posted for that repository.
  • Game server queries on ARM64 hostsTCAdmin now ships a build of its query tool for ARM64, so game servers hosted on ARM64 Linux machines — Raspberry Pi and ARM cloud servers — report their status, player count and other query details just like any other server.
  • Clearer System Update pageThe System Update page has been tidied up and now links straight to the release notes for the version it is offering, so you can read what is in an update before installing it.
  • New default file locations on LinuxNew Linux installations now store game files in /usr/local/tcadmin-files/games and user files in /usr/local/tcadmin-files/users. Existing installations keep the paths they already use.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Restarting a stopped server failedFixed the Restart action failing with a "Service is not running" error whenever the server was not already running. Scheduled restart tasks failed on any server that happened to be stopped at the time, and query monitoring's automatic restart never ran at all — a server it has just detected as crashed is stopped by definition — which also meant the scripts attached to that detection were skipped. Restarting a stopped server now simply starts it. The same error could also appear for a server that was running normally but whose status could not be read at that moment.
  • Scheduled restarts reported as failedFixed scheduled start and restart tasks always finishing with a "Service status was Starting after executing the Restart command" error on games that use Show 'Starting' until service responds to query. The server was being restarted correctly every time and only the task was marked as failed. The task now completes successfully, and its log notes that the server is still starting and will show as started once it answers a query.
  • Restart Web and Restart Monitor on DockerFixed the Restart Web and Restart Monitor tools doing nothing on the Docker appliance while reporting that the service was not installed on the server. Both now restart correctly, and a host whose services are managed outside TCAdmin gets a message saying so instead of a misleading error.
  • Database password saved unprotectedFixed the database password entered on a server's Configuration page being stored without encryption, and being deleted and re-created unprotected every time the page was saved. It is now always stored encrypted, is never sent back to the browser, and is left untouched when you save the page without retyping it — use the reveal button to check the saved value. Passwords stored by earlier versions are protected the next time the page is saved.
  • Game console opening almost blank on LinuxFixed the console of a running game server showing little more than a spinner and an FPS counter instead of the full screen. It affected games that draw a full-screen console, such as MTA, typing a command was the only way to fill it in, and it became more likely the longer the server had been running. TCAdmin now keeps track of what the server is displaying and rebuilds the console from that, so it opens complete however long the server has been up, and it keeps more of the earlier output for you to scroll back through.
  • Quotes around the command-line previewFixed the preview of a predefined or custom command line appearing wrapped in quotation marks, with any quotes inside the command line shown escaped.
  • Script output scrolling out of viewFixed the output of a running script disappearing off the bottom of the page. Once a script printed more lines than fitted on screen, the newest lines kept arriving out of sight and you had to scroll down by hand to follow along. The view now follows the newest line as it arrives, and steps aside the moment you scroll up to read something that caught your eye — scroll back to the bottom and it picks up following again.
  • Console cursor always on screenFixed the text cursor sitting in the game console as a solid block even when you were not typing in it. It now appears only while the console has focus, and a console that accepts no commands at all — neither console commands nor RCON — no longer shows one. The cursor also keeps your theme's colour after you switch between light and dark mode.
  • Activity details dialog would not stay closedFixed the activity log details dialog reopening itself a moment after you dismissed it with the Escape key or by clicking outside it, which left the Close button as the only way to make it stay shut.
  • Empty and repeated drives in the Server Resources widgetFixed the Server Resources widget listing Linux system mounts as empty "0 B" drives, and showing the same physical disk once per mount point on Docker hosts.
  • Dashboard reset button alignmentFixed the alignment of the reset button on the dashboard.
  • Login page spacingFixed the extra space above the language selector on the login page.

NewNew Features

  • Official Docker imageTCAdmin now ships an all-in-one Docker image that bundles the database, web control panel, and monitor into a single container — the fastest way to get a panel running, with one command and no separate database to install. It runs on both Intel/AMD and ARM64 hosts, installs the latest release the first time it starts, and updates in place from then on, so you never rebuild or re-pull the image just to update TCAdmin. The same image can also run as a remote server that adds game-hosting capacity to an existing panel, as a standalone web panel, or against a database server you already run. See Docker Installation.
  • Email notificationsTCAdmin can now email your customers and staff. Connect your mail server on the new Email Settings page — standard SMTP, or app-only sign-in for Microsoft 365 and Google. Out of the box it sends welcome and password-reset links, notices when a service is created, reinstalled or moved, and query-monitoring alerts when a game server goes down; every message also lands in the user's Messages inbox inside the panel. Each email comes from a template you can rewrite with a visual editor or directly in HTML — drop in details such as the customer's name, preview with sample data, switch templates on or off, create variations, and translate them into your panel's languages so each user receives email in their preferred language. See Email Templates.
  • Company branding on your emailsThe new Company Information page lets you set your company name, website, logo, support email and panel address, plus a custom header and signature. TCAdmin applies them to every email it sends, so all of your messages share one consistent, professional look.
  • Announcements in your customers' languagesAnnouncements can now be translated into your panel's languages, the same way as email templates: an Editing layer selector in the announcement editor lets you write a per-language subject and body, and each customer sees the announcement in their own language — including on the login page, which follows its language selector. Users without a matching translation still see the default content, and switching the panel language updates announcements already on screen. See Announcements.
  • Sign in as your customersAdministrators and sub-admins with the new Impersonate permission can temporarily sign in as one of their users, straight from the Users list or the user's page, and see the panel exactly as that customer does — ideal for troubleshooting. While impersonating, a banner at the top of the panel shows whose account you're using and returns you to your own account with one click. Impersonation only works on accounts below your own access level, and the activity log records when each session starts and ends, with every action taken while impersonating attributed to the real administrator.
  • Custom service home and header layoutsBuilding on layout templates, you can now design how a game or Docker service's own pages look — both the home area you see when you open a service and the header strip shown across all of its pages. Lay out live service controls and information in the visual editor, then apply your design to every service or tailor a separate one for a particular game or blueprint. See Layout Templates.
  • Repair a game serviceA new Repair action on a game service's page (next to Reinstall) fixes the most common causes of a server that won't start or can't access its files: it recreates the service's system user if it was deleted, resets the user's password to match the panel's records, and re-applies the correct permissions to the service's files. Administrators can grant the action to sub-admins and customers with the new Repair permission, and scripts can add their own follow-up steps with the new AfterServiceRepaired scripting event or start a repair themselves.
  • Automatic clean-up of old tasks and logsA new Data Retention & Maintenance page keeps your database and disk from filling up over time. TCAdmin can automatically remove finished tasks and old rotated log files once they pass an age you set, and reclaim the freed-up database space on a weekly schedule. You can also start a task clean-up yourself at any time.
  • Improved task calendar and task detailsOn the Tasks calendar, the status totals now always match the tasks shown for the period you're viewing, and the Completed, Running, Failed, Pending and Cancelled tiles let you filter the calendar to a single status with one click. Opening a task shows a clearer status view with easy access to each step's log.
  • Unsaved-changes warnings on more pagesThe prompt that warns you before leaving a page with unsaved edits now covers more of the panel, including the File Manager's text and configuration editors and the command-line manager.
  • Smoother settings loadingGame and Docker service settings pages now show a loading placeholder as they open, instead of a brief empty area.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Drop-downs limited to 20 itemsFixed various drop-down and picker lists showing only their first 20 entries, which could hide later items; they now offer the full list.
  • Copy, cut and paste in the file editorFixed copy, cut and paste not working in the File Manager's text editor, where the panel's own keyboard shortcuts were intercepting them.
  • Create New Service game pickerFixed the game picker in the Create New Service wizard sometimes failing to load with a server error.
  • File Manager and server configuration errorsFixed an error that could appear when opening the File Manager or editing a server's configuration.
  • Scheduled console and RCON commandsFixed scheduled tasks that send console or RCON commands to a game server. The task could wrongly treat a running service as stopped and refuse to run, and RCON commands failed with a "not implemented" error even though RCON is fully supported; both now work, and a command that fails is reported without stopping the rest of the task.
  • Server Resources widget slow on WindowsFixed the Server Resources dashboard widget being slow to load on Windows.
  • Steam game update errorFixed an error that could interrupt a Steam game install or update as it recorded its progress.
  • Runaway Redis disk usageFixed the panel's built-in Redis storage growing very large over time and never releasing the space, which could use a lot of disk on long-running installations.
  • Saving settings with a missing configuration fileFixed saving a service's settings failing when the service's configuration file was missing; the file is now recreated automatically.
  • Editing a configuration file that doesn't exist yetFixed an error when opening one of a service's configuration files for editing before it had been created on disk; it now opens as an empty file you can fill in and save.
  • Layout template editorFixed the layout template editor wrongly warning about unsaved changes when switching between sections or previewing, and now correctly treating your template as saved after you save it.
  • Two-step verification with passkeysFixed accounts that only had passkeys being unable to set up an authenticator app, and the two-factor login screen asking for an authentication code from accounts that had no way to generate one. The login screen now offers only the sign-in options your account actually has, and disabling the authenticator app, deleting a passkey or regenerating recovery codes now explains what will happen before asking for your password.
  • Browser autofill in credential fieldsFixed the browser filling your saved panel login into credential fields across the panel — such as a game's Steam account, the mail server sign-in, and database or FTP details. This could make an "Unsaved changes" warning appear on its own and silently replace the stored values the next time the page was saved. These fields no longer receive browser autofill.
  • Steam account with a blank password ignoredFixed game installs and updates that use Depot Downloader logging in anonymously when the game's Steam account had a username but no password, which made paid games fail to download as if no account was set. Depot Downloader now also remembers its Steam sign-in on each server after you authorize the account once, so downloads no longer ask you to approve a Steam Guard prompt every time.
  • Saving a sub-user's permissions on a serviceFixed the sub-user permissions page listing the Mods permission twice and then failing to save with an error. Each permission is now listed once and saves correctly.
  • "No roles assigned" warning on sub-usersFixed the sub-user editing page warning that the account had no roles assigned. Sub-users are granted permissions per service instead of roles, so the warning never applied to them.
  • Administrator-only scripts could be given to sub-usersFixed scripts with no roles assigned — which makes them administrator-only — being offered when choosing the scripts a sub-user may run, so an owner could hand a sub-user a script the owner could not run themselves. They are now hidden from that list and from the service's own script menus. Scripts a customer writes for their own service are unaffected and can still be shared with their sub-users.

NewNew Features

  • Command line stays in syncA service's start command line now updates automatically whenever the values behind it change: editing the service's settings or command-line variables, changes synced from configuration files, and reinstalls, moves and copies all refresh it immediately. Administrators can still take full manual control — turn on the new Override command line option on a service's settings page to enter an exact command line that TCAdmin will leave untouched, and turn it off to go back to the automatic one.
  • Steam branch from a variableA game's Steam Branch and Branch Password settings can now contain a variable such as ${branch}. The variable is resolved with each service's own values when the game installs or updates, so you can, for example, add a customer-editable variable that lets each customer switch their own server between the game's stable and beta branches.
  • Faster import pickersThe Import dialogs for games, scripts, themes, Docker blueprints and layout templates now search as you type, with the matching done on the server. They stay quick and show every match even when there are hundreds of items to choose from.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Services stuck after a long start scriptFixed a service becoming stuck when one of its start scripts ran for a long time (Rust's startup script, for example): Stop appeared to do nothing and further Start attempts hung until the monitor was restarted. Stop and Kill now cancel any start script that is still running, and a power operation that can't get its turn returns a clear "another operation is still running" message instead of waiting forever.
  • Starting an already-running serviceFixed clicking Start on a service that was already running (possible when a page showed a slightly out-of-date status) re-running the whole start sequence against the live server — which could mark the running server as stopped, or restart it. TCAdmin now recognises that the server is already running and simply reports it as started, leaving it untouched.
  • Live updates after a connection dropFixed service pages no longer receiving live updates — console output, status and progress changes — after the browser's connection to the panel briefly dropped. Everything now resumes automatically when the connection returns, without refreshing the page.
  • Service creation failing on WindowsFixed service creation on Windows occasionally failing with "The password does not meet the password policy requirements". Generated service-account passwords now always satisfy Windows' password-complexity policy.
  • Process priority locked on WindowsFixed game processes on Windows having their priority pinned even when no specific priority was configured for the service, which quietly prevented scripts and other tools from adjusting the priority of a running game. A priority is now only enforced when one is actually set.

10 New14 Fixed

NewNew Features

  • Default Steam settingsYou can now set one Steam account and Steam Web API key for the whole panel under Settings → Default Steam Settings. Any game that doesn't have its own Steam login or API key falls back to these automatically, so you no longer have to enter the same Steam credentials on every game. A game with its own account — or one set explicitly to anonymous — still uses that; simply leave a game's Steam username blank to use the default.
  • Query and monitor EOS-based gamesTCAdmin can now read the status and player count of games that use Epic Online Services (EOS) for their server browser rather than Steam. ARK: Survival Ascended and The Isle: Evrima work out of the box, and a generic EOS option lets you enter the details for other EOS games. Palworld is now read through its own built-in REST API instead — turn on its REST API and set an admin password on the server, and its players and status show up like any other game. See Query Monitoring.
  • Extract any archive from the File ManagerThe File Manager's Extract option now works for every supported archive type — .zip, .rar, .7z and all the .tar variants such as .tar.gz, .tgz and .tar.bz2 — on every operating system. Previously some archives, multi-part .tar.* files in particular, gave you no Extract option even though they could be unpacked.
  • Import databases from V2's MySQL ManagerThe V2 service import tool now brings across the databases your services used through V2's MySQL Manager module. TCAdmin records each database against the imported service and points the server's database manager at the same MySQL server V2 was using, so the existing databases keep working — it doesn't move or copy any data. See Importing V2 services.
  • Faster service-creation pickersThe Create New Service wizard now loads users, servers, and game and Docker blueprints a page at a time as you scroll and search. The pickers stay quick and responsive even on panels with thousands of users or hundreds of games.
  • Sort plugin repository listingsWhen browsing a plugin repository you can now sort the list — newest or oldest first, or by name A–Z or Z–A — alongside the default order that shows items with an update available first. See Plugin Repositories.
  • Remote server setup checksWhen you add a remote server, TCAdmin now checks that the shared database and Redis settings the new server needs have been filled in first, and warns you with links to fix them — instead of letting you add a server that can't connect. See Remote Server Configuration.
  • Clearer logsWeb and Monitor logs are now colour-coded by severity when you view them in the panel, so warnings and errors stand out at a glance. The Web and Monitor services also print a header with version and system details when they start, making logs easier to read and support questions easier to answer.
  • Release notes from the update pageThe System Update page now links straight to the release notes, so you can see what's in an update before you install it.
  • Administrator accounts ready to useNew administrator accounts are now given the Administrator role automatically, and any account left without a role shows a clear alert — so you won't end up with a user who can't do anything.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Steadier when Redis is offlineFixed the Web and Monitor crashing or showing repeated errors when Redis was unavailable or unreachable; the panel now carries on and degrades gracefully instead.
  • Web panel failing to startFixed the web panel failing to load when its settings file was empty or invalid.
  • FileZilla FTPS connectionsFixed a "TLS connection was non-properly terminated" error when connecting to the built-in FTPS server with FileZilla. Other clients, such as WinSCP, were unaffected.
  • Correct FTP port on the service pageFixed the FTPS connection details on a service's page sometimes showing the wrong port; the correct FTP port for the hosting server is now shown.
  • Terminal output on LinuxFixed Terminal console output not working on Linux when the game's program path contained spaces.
  • Console font on Linux and macOSFixed the console using a Windows-only font, so console text now stays neatly monospaced on Linux and macOS.
  • "Update" label when sharing a pluginFixed the share-back dialog so it shows the plugin's name with "Update" when you're updating an existing plugin in a repository, rather than implying you're adding a new one.
  • Web crash when saving scripts, variables or custom linksFixed a crash in the web panel that could occur when saving certain global scripts, variables or custom links.
  • Memory usage for Wine gamesFixed Wine games (Windows games running on Linux) reporting only a few megabytes of memory instead of their real usage; the full amount is now shown.
  • Files extracted as root on LinuxFixed archives extracted on Linux creating files owned by root — whether unpacked from the File Manager or installed as part of a mod or game update; extracted files now belong to the service's own user, matching the folders around them.
  • Changed variables on create and reinstallFixed the command line not picking up an updated variable value when creating or reinstalling a service.
  • Returning to the service after creationFixed the panel not opening the new service's page after creation when a Steam update was set to run as part of the install.
  • Wine command previewFixed the command-line preview shown when setting up a Wine game.
  • V2 import script mappingFixed mod scripts not coming across correctly when importing from V2, and scripts that ran after a Steam update in V2 being attached to the wrong event in V3.

NewNew Features

  • Move a service to another serverYou can now move or copy a game or Docker service to a different server — or flip it between a physical host and one of its virtual servers — right from the service's page. TCAdmin checks the destination is reachable first, keeps the same ports where it can, moves the files and database together, re-points any scheduled tasks, and rolls back if something goes wrong.
  • More accurate server statusServers now send a regular heartbeat, so the Online / Offline status shown on the health, servers, license and update pages reflects what's really happening. If the status service is briefly unavailable a server shows as Unknown rather than being wrongly reported offline, and creating a service now checks the chosen server is actually reachable before it starts. You can also test a single server's connection on demand.
  • WHMCS billing moduleSell and provision game servers straight from WHMCS. The new WHMCS module creates servers on order and keeps them in step with billing — suspending, unsuspending and terminating automatically — and also handles password changes, package upgrades, Start / Stop / Restart / Force-Kill controls and one-click login to the control panel from the client area. See the WHMCS module page to download it and get set up.
  • Run a script on every queryA new ServiceQueried scripting event runs on every query check, online or offline — not just when a problem is detected. Use it to keep your own running counts (for example, stop a server that has sat empty for too long), log player numbers, or react to anything the built-in detections can't express. See Query Monitoring for details.
  • Delete tasksYou can now delete a task from the tasks list.
  • Command-line tool on your PATHThe tca command-line tool is now added to your system PATH during installation, so you can run it from any terminal without typing the full path. You can opt out if you'd rather not.
  • Clearer server name on servicesA service's details now show Server Name (Virtual Server Name), making it obvious which virtual server a service is running on.

FixedBug Fixes

  • New server disabled on its ownFixed a newly added server being disabled by itself a few minutes after it was added.
  • Passkey sign-in on installed panelsFixed passkey registration failing on deployed installations.
  • MySQL error starting the CLIFixed a MySQL error when starting the command-line tool.
  • Virtual servers in console modeFixed an error starting a virtual server's process when the monitor runs in console mode.
  • Task progress flippingFixed the task progress dialog flipping between Running and Pending.
  • Leftover tasks when deleting a userDeleting a user now also removes that user's tasks, instead of leaving them behind.
  • Dashboard widget loadingFixed a delay when dashboard widgets first load, and tidied up spacing on the dashboard.
  • Granting a user a roleFixed an error when opening the Grant Role dialog on a user's Roles page; the role picker now opens correctly.

  • Two-factor authenticationAdd a second step to your sign-in for extra security. Turn it on from the Security page in your profile using any authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Authy or 1Password. You also get a set of one-time recovery codes to store somewhere safe in case you lose your phone, and you can choose to remember a computer you trust so you aren't asked for a code every time. Administrators with the right permission can switch two-factor off for a customer who has been locked out.
  • Passkeys and passwordless sign-inSign in with a passkey using Windows Hello, Touch ID, Face ID or a hardware security key. A passkey can stand in for your authenticator code as the second step after your password, or replace the password altogether — just choose "Sign in with a passkey" on the login screen and you're in, with nothing to type. Add and name as many passkeys as you like from the Security page.
  • Visual script editor improvementsOpening a visual script now centres it in view, so you can see the whole flow at a glance. The start, stop, restart and kill block reports whether the action actually succeeded, with separate success and failure paths you can branch on, plus an option to run it quietly without printing to the console.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Remote server setup at startupFixed an error that could stop remote servers from being configured automatically when the panel started.
  • Console errors without DockerFixed repeated error messages appearing in the console on systems that don't have Docker installed.

8 New3 Fixed

NewNew Features

  • Visual script editorBuild automation without writing code. The new no-code editor lets you create a script by dragging blocks onto a canvas and connecting them — start from an event, then chain together actions, conditions and loops. Blocks cover the everyday tasks: send a console command, start, stop or restart the service, create, delete, compress or extract files, upload over FTP, call a web address, post to Discord, ask the user for input with a form, or run one of your other scripts. It runs through the same scripting system as the code languages, so a visual script reacts to the same events.
  • Custom scripts on individual servicesService owners can now build their own automation scripts on a single service with the new visual editor — no code or admin access required. Admins turn this on per game or Docker template and choose which blocks each customer is allowed to use — so you decide both who can add their own scripts and what those scripts can do.
  • Update your servers from the webA new System Update page updates all your servers. Click Update Now and the master server updates and migrates first, then your remaining servers roll out automatically to the same version, with live progress and per-server retry. You can also reinstall the current version, or update a single server on its own.
  • Update channelsChoose which update stream your installation follows. Stay on the built-in Beta or Stable channel, or point at your own custom channel, from the new Update Channel setting — or with the tca channel command. Your choice applies across the whole installation.
  • DNS certificate wizardGet an SSL certificate for your panel by proving you own the domain through a DNS record. The step-by-step wizard requests the certificate, shows the exact TXT record(s) to add at your DNS provider, then verifies and installs it for you — useful when your panel isn't reachable over the web for the usual automatic validation.
  • Extract 7-Zip archivesThe web file manager can now extract .7z (7-Zip) archives, in addition to the formats it already handled.
  • Improved services listThe services overview's grid view has been reworked to be easier to scan, with clearer status at a glance.
  • Better on small screensMany pages — including the file manager, file editor, service creation, game updates and the dashboard — now lay out properly on phones and tablets.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Theme by hostnameFixed the panel selecting the correct theme based on the address used to reach it.
  • File manager menu iconsFixed small icons in the file manager's right-click menu appearing greyed out.
  • Getting Started: Import GamesFixed the Import Games step in the Getting Started guide.

NewNew Features

  • Single sign-on for external applicationsExternal billing or admin systems such as WHMCS can sign a customer into the panel with a single click. Using an API key that holds the new SSO permission, the external app requests a short-lived, single-use login token and redirects the customer to TCAdmin already logged in, optionally on a specific page.
  • Browsable REST API documentationEvery API endpoint now has an interactive reference describing what it does and the data it accepts and returns, available at {control panel url}/scalar/. The underlying OpenAPI specification is published too, so you can generate client code in your language of choice.
  • Filter the Plugin Repository by install stateWhen browsing a plugin repository you can now filter the list to show everything, only the plugins you already have installed, or only the ones with an update available. The filter applies across every category, making it easy to find and update the plugins you already use.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Steam Workshop without an API keyFixed browsing and installing Steam Workshop content when no Steam Web API key is configured.
  • Monitor crash while tailing filesFixed a crash in the monitor that could occur when viewing live file output (such as a log or console tail) and the view was closed.
  • Importing a configuration duplicated mods and updatesMods and game updates now carry a stable identifier, so re-importing or updating a game configuration updates the existing entries in place instead of creating duplicates.
  • "Starting" command line on a running serviceFixed the command line applied when "Show 'Starting' until service responds to query" is enabled and the service was already running.
  • Task popup Continue buttonThe Continue button on the task progress popup now closes the dialog before redirecting, instead of leaving it open.

NewNew Features

  • Layout templatesA theme controls your panel's colors; a layout template now controls its structure too. Redesign the login page and main shell — top bar, navigation drawer, footer, and the areas around your content — using editable building blocks and your own CSS, and share your design through the Plugin Repository on its own or bundled with a theme. The startup loading screen follows the selected theme too, and a safe-mode link restores the default layout if needed. Several ready-made designs are included.
  • Minimum version requirements for pluginsWhen sharing a plugin to a Plugin Repository, you can now set an optional minimum TCAdmin version. Installations running an older version still see the plugin while browsing, but its card shows the required version and the Install button is disabled with an explanation — so incompatible content can't be installed by mistake. Leave it blank to allow any version.
  • More reliable license validationIf the primary license server can't be reached, the monitor now automatically tries alternate license servers.

NewNew Features

  • Game updatesGame blueprints can now offer alternative builds or branches (for example, Vanilla / Paper / Spigot for Minecraft, or different Steam betas). Each update can run its own install scripts and be restricted to specific roles, and services keep track of which update is installed.
  • Service mods on Game and Docker blueprintsAdmins can now curate a list of mods on a game or Docker blueprint, and users can install or uninstall them on their services with a single click. Each mod can have its own install scripts and role restrictions.
  • Fast Downloads (FastDL)Mirror service files to an HTTP origin so game clients can fetch downloads much faster than through the game server. Configurable per blueprint with support for local, FTP, SFTP, and S3 storage and several compression formats. Includes a manual sync action plus automatic sync when files change in the web file manager or over FTP. FastDL settings from V2 game configurations are imported automatically.
  • Query monitoringService health checks via game-server queries. The monitor can detect when a service is offline, when slot counts are reported incorrectly, when a service is set to private, and when the server brand doesn't match. Configurable rules let you log activity, run scripts, or restart the service when a detection occurs.
  • V2 service import toolImport existing services from a V2 installation into V3. Maps users, virtual servers, games, and per-service settings. Sub-admins can now be granted access to the tool through a new permission.
  • uMod and Nexus ModsTwo new custom mod providers added alongside Steam Workshop, Curse Forge, and Minecraft Modpacks. Users can browse and install mods from uMod and Nexus directly from the service mods page.
  • V2 plugin repositoryA new built-in plugin repository that lets you browse and install legacy game configurations from the V2 forum without leaving V3. The repository auto-syncs hourly and announces new and updated plugins, just like the existing GitHub-backed repositories.
  • Service dashboard widgetA new dashboard widget shows the live status, player count, CPU, and memory of one of your services, with power controls right on the card. Add one for each service you want to keep an eye on, and arrange your dashboard however you like — each user's layout is saved in their own browser.
  • Login page dark/light toggleThe login page now has a light / dark / auto theme switch, so you can choose your preferred appearance before signing in.

FixedBug Fixes

  • Custom mod configuration importFixed an error when importing custom mod configuration as part of a blueprint import.
  • Changing user passwordFixed an error that could occur when changing a user's password.
  • Modpack version selectionFixed an error selecting the version to install in the Minecraft Modpack install dialog.
  • Curse mod folder not savedFixed Curse mods not saving the configured mod folder value.
  • Loading screen ignored the themeThe loading screen was always shown in dark mode; it now follows the selected light or dark theme.
  • Login page logo colorThe theme color is now applied correctly to the logo on the login page.
